Landscape design in Sussex

Re-planning landscaping means you will get a better connection of living spaces to your garden. We like to plan areas of garden like outdoor rooms, creating spaces for activities, contemplation, work or play. Views and glimpses provide surprise and visual connection. Texture, colour, sound, smell and taste engage the senses. Ecology is key.  The way rainwater is stored, selection of trees, planting, the types of soils and mulches - all these details connect us with nature through the seasons.  Designing with rusty steel, new oak, shallow pools with bridges - all these things can play with abstract themes of Earth, Air, Fire and Water.  Spotlighting a group of white-barked Himalayan Birch trees creates a magical world after dark.
